Photo-op backfire

Instead of coming to an immigrant coalition’s press conference that SFSU students invited him to, Gavin Newsom held a separate press conference on the same day at the same time to claim his involvement in the movement.

He has yet to take the initiative to work directly and democratically with the community and appears to be more interested in maintaining his celebrity status than working with the residents of San Francisco.

This video is just another example of how Gavin takes the spotlight on important issues while stabbing affected communities in the back.
